Wayne Rixmann, our longtime Chairman who oversaw the ambitious expansion and renovation of our offices at 860 East Sahara Ave, has resigned after serving 2 terms on our Board. Under Wayne’s guidance, FCPS is now in an incredible position to offer 7 counseling and 2 ultrasound rooms in a state-of-the-art facility that encompasses the entire building. We thank Wayne for his many contributions to First Choice over the years!
We are pleased that Deborah Costello, who originally opened First Choice back in late 2004, is our current Chairman. As an expert in pregnancy center operations and policies, she will oversee the ramp-up of activity associated with our facility expansion.
Lisa Brown has resigned as our Executive Director. Lisa held the FCPS helm for approximately 2 years. Pam Caylor has re-joined FCPS as the Executive Director. Pam has a heart and passion for the ministry, and God has blessed her with unique insights and gifts that she brings to FCPS. She was instrumental in overseeing First Choice’s rapid expansion from 2005-08 to become the busiest pregnancy center in the United States.
Stacy Tafoya has taken the position of Client Services Manager. She brings many life experiences with her that make her such a great fit for the position. She is a joy and blessing to be around, and the volunteers all love her. She is excited to head up this vital area of the ministry and we are thrilled to have her leading this area of the ministry at FCPS.
